About the MOTAS-EL Platform
The MOTAS-EL (Meaningful Outcomes Treatment & Assessment Scale – Early Learner) is a comprehensive, criterion-referenced skills assessment designed to support individualized intervention planning for young children, including children with autism and related developmental disabilities.
“Meaningful Outcomes” refers to the importance of personalizing and adapting intervention to meet the diverse and changing needs of each learner and their family. When used alongside the Levels of Optimum Performance - Early Learner (LOOP-EL) Interviews, assessors can focus on identifying skill areas that will have the greatest impact on the learner’s progress and overall quality of life.
What the MOTAS-EL Online Platform Does
The MOTAS-EL Online Platform allows organizations to invite parents/caregivers, educators, and other professionals to complete their respective LOOP-EL Interviews digitally. Instructors also have the option to complete interviews on behalf of stakeholders, or to skip the LOOP when appropriate.
Once interviews are completed, the platform calculates the LOOP-EL Level of Importance Scores and provides guidance on which Domains should be prioritized during the MOTAS-EL assessment process.
After the MOTAS-EL assessment is completed, the platform generates a Summary of Domain Scores and provides space for clinicians to document observations and treatment recommendations.
Organizations can also view progress over time through a printable and shareable Progress Graph.
License Information
Each MOTAS-EL Platform license includes one year of access per client and supports unlimited administrations during the license term.
