The MOTAS (Meaningful Outcomes Treatment & Assessment Scale) is a comprehensive, criterion-referenced skills assessment focusing on personalizing interventions for people with autism and related disabilities.

“Meaningful Outcomes” refers to the importance of personalizing and adapting interventions to meet the diverse and changing needs of individuals with autism and their families. By using the MOTAS in tandem with The Levels of Optimum Performance (LOOP) Interviews, assessor can focus on assessing for skills that will have the greatest impact on the client and help them achieve their desired goals.

The MOTAS Online Platform allows those in your organization to invite parents/caregivers, clients, and other professional to complete their respective LOOP Interviews. Instructors also have the option to fill out interviews on behalf of stakeholders, or to skip the LOOP.

After interviews are completed, The MOTAS Online Platform will then calculate the LOOP Level of Importance Scores, and provide recommendations on Domain assessment for the MOTAS.

Once the MOTAS Assessment is complete, a Summary of Scores for the Domains is generated, and space is provided for your clinicians to write their final observations and recommendations for treatment. Progress across assessments can be visualized in a printable and shareable Progress Graph.
