This excellent manipulative addresses two very basic skills: how to match objects to pictures and how to sort objects. Children will be absorbed by the task of placing the objects on a canvas mat and matching the objects to silk screened silhouettes of each item. Once they can match the items, children may be led on to the more abstract task of sorting the objects. The kit includes 60 objects, canvas mat, 12 sorting cups and a colorful storage basket.
